FOOTBALL IN FREEPORT: Trials for the Under 17 Girls National Team

These will take place at 11 am on July 1st at the Freeport Rugby Football Club.

Trials are open to all Girls

who are born in the year 2001 or later, and who have a current (does not expire for 6 months at least), Bahamian Passport and US VISA.

The U 17 Girls Head Coach Kevin Davies and his assistant Coach Ricqea Bain will conduct the trials with the help of Mr. Robert Spellor, the FRFC president and his assistants, Mr. Mark Hardy and Mr. Nigel Kirkby.

It’s been a Freeport “free for all” with a number of football fun and frolic activities taking place.
Freeport have just finished their annual Sir Jack Hayward Summer Camp.

Over 125  5  to 17 yr old Girls and Boys combined with 4 overseas coaches and 15 local coaches to enjoy learning all aspects of the beautiful game. Technical skills, tactical awareness, teamwork and physical development were all items on this play and perform menu at the Freeport football festival.  What a great way to start the summer and Congratulations to FRFC for their vision to help develop the round ball game.
